This will be the second installation of this drain. It has worked out great so far. I have installed in concrete and in dirt without concrete. When installing in dirt i recommend using at least a 12in rod in each one of the holes. I bent rebar to do this. If not it will move just a little and you may get a high corner. Other than that it has been absolutely easy to install. Just take the end off and connect together. There is also a piece to replace the end cap to accept a drain line from the side. It is not pictured here. This has been the method I have used. There is knockouts on the bottom side as well that I haven't tried. These worked great since it has the ability to discharge from the side when in my situations there was not enough grade to run a line from underneath.
